One of the pillars of our mission is to ensure access for the youth of our community to the high-quality educational programming made available by our ten beneficiaries.

IN 2018, OVER 57,000 SAN DIEGO COUNTY SCHOOL CHILDREN EXPERIENCED OUR BENEFICIARIES EDUCATION PROGRAMS

We are committed to providing opportunities for young students to reap the benefits provided by science-based, hands-on programs, as well as exposure to the wide array of visual and performing arts offered in Balboa Park.

Patrons partners with community foundations, businesses and private donors to make these educational opportunities a reality for underserved schools who have no resources to transport the students to enjoy the cultural riches of Balboa Park.

Approximately 65% of students served Are from Title 1 schools

The Bucks4Buses fund provides a wonderful opportunity for members to honor a friend or family member and support the efforts of Patrons of the Prado. If you would like to contribute, please send your donation to the address below and provide the name of the honoree. Patrons will send an acknowledgment to the honoree or family to apprise them of the gift in their honor.
